I’ve been wanting to write this product review forever! Even before I had a blog. That’s how much I love the Nosefrida 🙂
And because my daughter has been fighting a little cold this week, I had to dig out the Nosefrida.
What better time than now to write this review!
What is the Nosefrida Nasal Aspirator?
The Nosefrida is a nasal aspirator invented and recommended by a doctor. It is BPA Free, Phthalate Free, Latex Free and non allergenic.
You simply place the large tube against your baby’s nostril and suck that snot out using the red mouthpiece.
Don’t worry, germs cannot pass from baby to parent because of a hygiene filter preventing transfer.
Ok, I know, this sounds pretty disgusting and may not be for the queasy or faint of heart.
Even Nosefrida calls their product “A Little Strange”.
But, Wow, Does it Work!
The Nosefrida works a million times better than a bulb syringe aspirator. I found the Nosefrida when I was pregnant with my 3rd child and I really wish I had one for the other 2 as well.
I never had much success using the typical bulb syringe snot sucker that was sent home with my little ones from the hospital.
And there is nothing sadder that a snotty baby who can’t breathe, especially when trying to nurse or drink a bottle. 🙁
So, to sum it up:
If you need to suck some serious snot and help your little one breathe a little easier, Nosefrida is my top choice. And it’s only $15 on Amazon, which is pretty sweet as well.
If you are grossed out easily, this may not be for you. I personally am not. Although, this really grossed out my older kids when I first started using it. 🙂 (On the baby, not on them…)
I’m kind of embarrassed that something like a nasal aspirator gets me so excited. But if you have a little one, or one on the way, this is a must have in my book.
