DIY vitamin C serum supports aging skin to keep it looking fresh.

Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C oxidizes easily and a darker container will slow oxidation. This Vitamin C serum has a shelf life of up to two weeks. Keep away from heat. I would suggest storing in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the Vitamin C powder in the vegetable glycerin until powder is dissolved.
  2. Add Chosen Essential Oils (I find that the powder and essential oils mix better in the glycerin)
  3. Add Water and Aloe Vera Gel and mix well
  4. Add Vitamin E Oil
  5. Mix again
  6. Carefully pour the Vitamin C Serum in a dark glass bottle (like this one)

Notes

For best results, apply to freshly washed face in the evening. Do not apply in the morning or when you will be out in the sun, especially if adding lemon essential oil. This will make your skin sensitive to the sun.
