Kale Pineapple Smoothie

Nutrient-dense Kale Pineapple Smoothie Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Serves: 2
  • ½-1 cup cooked kale, frozen (see note)
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, frozen
  • 1 cup kombucha
  • 1 tablespoon collagen (my pick)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (my pick)
  1. Put everything in blender and blend on high speed for 5 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.
  2. Pour into glasses. Enjoy immediately.
Steam or boil kale in large batches for 3-5 minutes, just until reduced in size and freeze in silicone cups or on lined baking sheet. Remove frozen kale and place in ziplock bags for easy use in smoothies.
