Essential Oil Hair Spray
What if a hair spray actually nourished and strengthened your hair? Wouldn't that be great? You can have it, and the cool part is, you can make it right at home with very few ingredients!
This essential oil hair spray keeps you from inhaling the noxious fumes of commercial hair sprays. Instead, you'll have a pleasant-smelling product made with chamomile and black tea that cleans, protects, and nourishes your hair. It also helps repair split ends and restore luster and shine.
The chamomile version works well on blonde and light brown hair. The black tea version darkens hair naturally and, thanks to caffeine, stimulates the scalp to encourage hair growth.
Lavender oil (for calming) and rosemary oil (to stimulate blood flow to the scalp) are excellent essential oils to use, but chamomile, ylang ylang, and thyme are also excellent choices.
Simple DIY Hair Conditioner
Stop spending money on commercial hair conditioners. You have a much better alternative in your cupboard. You must be thinking, "Vinegar stinks! I don't want to put it in my hair!” I understand, and I was once in your shoes.
You won't smell like vinegar after using this, I promise. The vinegar smell will disappear once your hair dries. You can add some essential oils to help with the smell. Lavender is my oil of choice. All you'll need is apple cider vinegar, lavender essential oil (or another oil of your choice), argan oil, witch hazel, and a spray bottle top. I know you'll love it once you try it!

Regularly using an essential oil lice prevention spray can help you feel better about sending your child to school, sports, and slumber parties. By combining eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, and lavender oil, you can keep lice at bay while leaving your child's hair smelling fresh and clean. (via Glue Sticks & Gumdrops)

Flaxseeds and water are the two key ingredients, but you can add essential oils for fragrance and therapeutic benefits. Lavender and rosemary are two oils that provide a pleasant and fresh herbal scent, but try your favorites. (via The Things We'll Make)
